  • An increasing public concern.
  • 80% of all cardiac arrests occur at home.
  • Most are witnessed by family members.
  • Most family members are not trained in Bystander CPR.
  • If Bystander CPR is not initiated quickly, the victim's chances of survival are greatly reduced.
  • In most cases, by the time EMS arrives on scene, if Bystander CPR has not been initiated, the chances of resuscitation are slim.
  • Cardiac arrest is reversible through Bystander CPR training.

Babysitting Courses:

The Babysitting Course, offered by CPR Services at 100 Fenwick St Framingham 01701 is an amazing addition to its curriculum. We have had a great amount of interest in the program, which we offer approximately every four months. Students are certified in CPR & Heimlich Maneuver, following the guidelines of the American Heart Association, as well as reviewing important safety & first aid topics. Diaper changing, feeding, non-bake cooking projects, and age appropriate activities make up part of the program as well. Each student is sent home with their own Babysitting Bag.  The instructor, Heather Keppeler RN, creates these bags for each student, providing them with the information they have reviewed throughout the program.
Some insight to the instructor; Heather Keppeler RN has been cross-trained in Pediatric, Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Sedation Team Nursing over the last decade. She has been an instructor for CPR Services for twenty-two years, and still enjoys each and every class. She has formed many friendships with clients throughout her career and now instructs their children in her babysitting course.
The classes she provides are taught out of her home in Framingham. She likes to keep the class size down to six, so that she has plenty of time for open discussion and optimal practical skill time.
